Can women do workout during periods or is it safe ???

Research says.. “There’s no scientific reason you should skip out on your workouts during your period. In fact, there’s evidence that exercise can be helpful during this time. The bottom line is this: Continue with exercise, but back off on the intensity, especially if you’re feeling fatigued.” Ok girls here are some helpful ideas which i can share.

During periods some of the asanas and exercises can be done and some can’t be done. You can find a several lists of that on the internet. But i advise you to not to blindly follow them. I prefer that it would not harm you if you put your exercise routine at rest for some days. But since physical activity is necessary during these days. There is a scientific reason behind it. Some people say that don’t do much work or don’t run so much from here and there in these days, but it is necessary that since physical activity is there in your routine for the proper exit off bad blood from the body. Because some girls some problems like aching, less flow of blood & many such other problems due to lack of physical activity these days. On the other hand, those who become oversmart and do more exercises these days also get trapped in a problem or sometimes a disease also. Many diseases are there related to menstruation like abnormal uterine bleeding, Dysmenorrhoea, premenstrual syndrome, premenstrual dysphonic disorder, e.t.c. You can surely climb stairs during these days. and for exercise you can go for a walk (for about 20-30 mins or as per your capacity) in garden, park, on the road, on the terrace e.t.c. so that your daily exercise gets completed in another form.

I would also like to write the perhaps, your daily activities may include some exercises also that can’t be done in periods. So instead of your daily exercises whatever you do, just prefer walk. It won’t make any difference in your weight lose or turned Fitness plan or health if you don’t exercises as per daily routine. Also to save oneself from the above mentioned menstrual disease or any other disease, one should cut off the amount of salt, junk food, sugar, spicy food, follow a healthy life style, try to make a detoxification diet per month due to the surrounding pollution, microbes and wildly spreading diseases, make measures to save from diseases and most importantly, throw away mental stress, depression e.t.c. Even after taking so much care during periods, sometime some problems related to periods may occur and it can also be said that even after taking proper Health Care, sometimes, healthy people get trapped in disease also due to weak immunity or any other problem (excluding menstrual disease), but without getting depressed or saddened, you should make measures to come out of it and i really prefer to meet good Ayurvedic doctor in your area for that sake. Nevertheless, Your own well being comes first: If you don’t feel up to training during your period, reschedule your sessions for another day. I think this information would be helpful.
